Keynote Speakers

Avdi Grimm

Avdi Grimm is a father, a Ruby Hero, the head chef at RubyTapas.com, and author of the books Confident Ruby and Exceptional Ruby. He splits his theoretical spare time between hiking the Smoky Mountains and dancing to oontz-oontz music.

Erin Page

Erin is a US Army Veteran, mom to two brilliant teenage boys, and Product Developer at Beachy. She helps organize Nashville's Ruby User Group, Nodevember, Nashville's local JS conference, and BarCamp Nashville. Erin is a speaker at local and regional events. When she is not mentoring or hacking, she can be found on the lake with her dog, Wiggles.

Nickolas Means

Nickolas Means is infatuated with disasters of all kinds and the amazing things we can learn from them. You’ll often find him thinking about leadership in software teams and how we can all work together better to build amazing things.

When he’s not stuck in a Wikipedia loop reading about plane crashes, he leads the engineering team at Muve Health, helping build software to improve healthcare for patients and caregivers. He works remotely from Austin, TX, and spends most of his spare time hanging out with his wife and kids or going out for a run.
